A PEN COMPANY is now expanding The Pen to include the option of choosing an original Montblanc® refill. This allows the user to combine The Pen's minimalist design with a Montblanc® refill if that is the preferred writing experience.

While many premium writing instruments are associated with prominent logos and classic design traditions, The Pen takes a more modern and minimalist approach. The focus is on materials, function, and the writing experience rather than visual status symbols.

A steel ballpoint pen designed for use

The Pen is developed as a refillable steel ballpoint pen designed for longevity. The pen is hand-assembled in Denmark and made from stainless steel with a minimalist design language, free of clips, mechanical click functions, or unnecessary details.

The product is based on the idea of one pen that can be used again and again. Therefore, The Pen can be supplied with different refill types, allowing the user to choose the writing experience that best suits their preferences.

Original Montblanc® refill in The Pen

With the option of choosing an original Montblanc® refill, The Pen can be adapted to different writing preferences. Many prefer Montblanc® refills for their smooth and fluid writing experience.

The choice of refill does not change the pen itself but can affect the writing experience. The Pen functions as the same minimalist steel ballpoint pen, while the refill gives the user the opportunity to choose the writing character that best suits how the pen is used.

Pilot, Waterman, or Montblanc®?

The Pen is supplied as standard with a Pilot refill, available in Director’s Black, Founder’s Blue, Creative’s Green, and Writer’s Red. The Pilot refill is designed for precise and reliable daily use.

If a different writing experience is desired, The Pen can also be supplied with an original Waterman refill or an original Montblanc® refill. Both are available in black and blue.

The pen itself is the same. Only the refill changes the writing experience.

Free refill

A PEN COMPANY is based on the idea that a good pen should not be replaced, but refilled.

When purchasing The Pen with a Pilot refill, a free refill is offered upon payment of shipping costs.

If The Pen is chosen with an original Waterman or Montblanc® refill, five free refills are included. The limited refill scheme is due to the higher costs of these refill types.
